These are heavy duty, thick and durable 100% cotton gi and the pants have reinforced knees for extra durability on the mat. Suitable for aikido, judo, or other martial arts involving grappling that could tear thinner clothing. Built tough and should last you a long time. Uniform weighs close to 5 pounds dry.
Size is 5/190 for teens or adults. Gi top measures about 62 inches from sleeve-end to sleeve-end, and 36 inches from shoulder to bottom. Pants are about 36 inches long and 20 inches across but they are slit-side with draw-string so they can accommodate a wide range of waist sizes.
My brother and I used these for aikido in college some years ago. They have been in a box in my closet in air-condition since then. They are clean and still in great condition, other than some sweat stains on the inside of the tops especially around the neck. There are a few more minor stains here and there from use, but nothing majorly unseemly.
