I bought this 'fast yak' to enter a single race. The race was cancelled and never resumed!!! MY LOSS!
It's 16 ft long 22 inches wide (20'" at water line) and weighs only 45 lbs. It's fiberglass!!!. It is a sit-on so qualifies for most kayak races. Was made by Ocean Kayaks for scuba diving. No leaks.
IT IS NOT A FISHING KAYAK. It is good for racing, trips, camping, exercising.
